Couldn’t sleep for the third night so started homework, had to use wolfram and that’s an example of the work, i think it’s a form of art really, to the restless mind at least.
I was just trying to explain this to my mother the other day. Not rocket science, but the fact that math and physics is just as much a form of artistic release to me as painting is to her. She looked at me like I was batshit. Oh, well…

You Know You’re a Math Nerd When Part 2
You carry around a mechanical pencil and an eraser with you just in case you need to do math suddenly.
You get really excited learning new ways to do long division or any other type of math trick.
You get into debates about which way is better to learn/teach math.
You laugh at math jokes REALLY heartily.
